The dream team of accent coaching

We are Sarah & Helen.

We met when we both studied at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama on the MA Voice Studies course. Since our postgraduate study we have worked in the international film industry as accent & dialect coaches for almost four decades. Working with some of the most accomplished and award-winning performers and directors in the industry, we help them to bring authenticity to their characters’ voices. Credits include multiple films and TV shows for Marvel, Disney, Lucasfilm, BBC, Amazon, Apple, Paramount, Illumination, Universal, Warner Bros. and more.

We have authored the preeminent book on accent coaching – Work On Your Accent, published by Collins and now on its second edition (available in all good online bookstores!).

More recently we have worked with business leaders to bring clarity and confidence to their spoken English, without losing their identity.

For executives whose first language isn’t English the goal is clarity through developing clearer, more expressive speech. By unlocking how spoken English differs from written English, and how sounds flow in connected speech, we help leaders communicate with impact in boardrooms, investor meetings, public speaking engagements and media appearances.
